your property.
Tell us where the backup occurred
Share the property address, when the backup started, whether it is continuing, and which rooms or crawlspace areas are affected. Let us know about access restrictions without entering the affected water.
Separate the source repair from the cleanup
A plumber may need to address the sewer or drain problem. Our assessment focuses on affected materials, removal or cleaning, controlled work areas, and drying where appropriate. Plumbing repairs are a separate scope.
Agree on the work before it begins
We explain the proposed cleanup, material handling, equipment, disposal, and documentation. Any repair or replacement work should be separately identified and authorized in writing.
What the service
may include.
Actual work depends on the assessed conditions, access, and written scope. Mitigation and remediation are our primary services; any repairs are separately scoped and authorized.
- ✓Assessment of affected rooms, crawlspaces, materials, and access
- ✓Controlled work areas and protective measures suited to the conditions
- ✓Removal of affected water and materials where appropriate
- ✓Cleaning and treatment selected for the surfaces involved
- ✓Drying, progress checks, and job documentation as appropriate
Clear expectations
before you proceed.
Keep children and pets away from sewage-affected areas. Avoid contact with contaminated water. Do not enter standing water near electrical equipment; have unsafe utilities assessed by the appropriate professional.
Your questions.
Clear answers.
Does pumping out the sewage finish the job?
Not necessarily. The assessment also considers contamination in flooring, drywall, insulation, stored items, and other affected materials. The written scope explains the removal, cleaning, and drying proposed for your property.
Do you repair the sewer line?
Contact a plumber for sewer or drain repairs. We can discuss cleanup sequencing with the relevant trade, but source repairs are separate from our cleanup scope.
Can you help with insurance documentation?
We can document affected areas and the work performed and communicate about our scope with your adjuster. Your insurer determines coverage and payment.
