A plan built around
your property.
Understand access and moisture history
Tell us about known leaks, standing water, drainage concerns, musty odors, and access limitations. Do not enter a crawlspace you believe is unsafe just to take photographs.
Identify the affected work areas
We examine accessible surfaces and discuss moisture conditions, material contamination, and access needs. Framing, insulation, stored items, and ground covering may require different handling based on what is found.
Separate remediation from improvements
The estimate explains the agreed cleaning, material removal, and treatment. Drainage repairs, structural repairs, insulation replacement, and encapsulation are not automatically included in remediation and need their own scope.
What the service
may include.
Actual work depends on the assessed conditions, access, and written scope. Mitigation and remediation are our primary services; any repairs are separately scoped and authorized.
- ✓Assessment of accessible framing, subflooring, and affected materials
- ✓Discussion of moisture sources and work-area access
- ✓Containment and protective measures suited to the job
- ✓HEPA cleaning, removal, and surface treatment as appropriate
- ✓Clear documentation of what is included and separately recommended
Clear expectations
before you proceed.
Mold cleanup does not correct an active leak or drainage problem by itself. Moisture conditions need to be addressed to reduce the chance of recurrence. The inspection does not establish the condition of inaccessible areas or certify structural integrity.
Your questions.
Clear answers.
Is encapsulation the same as mold remediation?
No. Remediation addresses affected materials and cleaning. Encapsulation is a separately scoped moisture-management improvement. We discuss the condition and preparation of the crawlspace before any barrier work is considered.
Will you replace insulation or damaged wood?
Ask for those items to be identified separately in the written proposal. Remediation does not automatically include insulation replacement or structural repair.
Can I request a free inspection first?
Yes. Contact us for a free moisture check and visual mold inspection. Confirm access, availability, and the scope at your address; any specialist testing or additional work is separately discussed.
