The free inspection is not laboratory sampling, an air-quality certification, a health assessment, or a post-remediation clearance report. Any sampling, invasive access, specialist evaluation, or additional work must be discussed and separately agreed before charges are incurred.

Is a free mold inspection the same as mold testing?
No. A visual inspection and moisture assessment differ from collecting samples for laboratory analysis. EPA notes that sampling is often unnecessary when visible mold is present. If further evaluation is appropriate, discuss the purpose, provider, scope, and any cost first.
Can you rule out every hidden mold problem?
No. A review of accessible areas cannot establish the condition of every wall cavity or concealed material. We explain access limitations and discuss additional investigation when the observed conditions justify it.
Do I have to approve remediation after the inspection?
The inspection does not authorize cleanup or repair work. We explain any proposed work and estimate so you can decide whether to proceed.
